Grayhawk students giving gifts to those less fortunate. We are so proud of our kids!

Grayhawk Elementary School is fostering a spirit of giving back through numerous programs, including an annual Sock Drive, Deck the Halls with Food for the Needy, Pennies for Patients, the Echo Mountain Gift Program, and the Books for Nepal Book Drive.

Around the holidays each fall, the Grayhawk Elementary Student Council manages a Sock and Food Drive. The annual Sock Drive is held in October. In 2015, it’s second year running, Grayhawk Elementary students donated over 1,700 pairs of socks exceeding their goal of 15,000. The socks were donated to the Phoenix Rescue Mission. The director of the shelter stated that socks are one of the most needed items for the homeless. Learn how Grayhawk Elementary School gives back to their community.
