Pre-K-6th grade students returning for in-person learning will begin on February 16, and students in grades 7-12 will return on February 22.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve the Wildfire community as your new Assistant Principal! I am excited about what this year will bring as we work together to ensure each student has the best learning experience possible!
I am an Arizona native and received my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Administrative Leadership at Northern Arizona University. I have 18 years experience teaching all grade levels, Kindergarten - 6th grade, and taught at Fireside Elementary the last 5 years in 3rd/4th grade Gifted Self-Contained. I absolutely love working with children and my goal as a teacher has always been to create a fun and nurturing learning environment in which all students are challenged and have the confidence to always try their best!
My husband and I live in Cave Creek and have two adventurous daughters that graduated from Pinnacle High School. Our oldest daughter, Morgan, is a Labor and Delivery nurse moving to Anchorage, Alaska and Gabby is at University of Washington working on her Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I love traveling, hiking, beaches, reading, camping, and chocolate! We also have a crazy Great Pyrenees rescue dog named Chance and a new kitten, Gracie.
I believe that every child can be successful and it is important for everyone to work together to create a positive, safe and caring environment for students to learn best. I can already see that Wildfire is an amazing school and I look forward to working with all of the students, teachers, staff and parent communities at Wildfire! I can’t wait to meet everyone! I am so excited for the 2020-2021 school year!
