We would like to congratulate our two WWA artists, Uriel Zavala Calderon (4th Wilson/Gou) and Tessa Logue (5th Mandy). Their artworks have been selected as honorable winners in the 2019 Phoenix Chinese Week Art Contest!
Uriel and Tess have been invited to a special presentation during the festival, where their artwork will be on display.
We are proud to announce that four of WWA's 4th Grade student's art work have been chosen to be displayed at the Sonoran Arts League Professional Gallery from February 14-25.
The children used their own ideas and combined them with their learning in Indian Mehendi Design to create their posters. In addition, they had very little time to create and produce their submissions. They reached high and succeeded!
Mrs. Suri has been awarded a PV Schools grant. This grant will help support life science projects for both 3rd and 6th grade students.
Dina Stokich, our Mascot manager, has been recognized as the Educational Support Professional of the month. Thank you Dina for all that you do!
