I am a pure-bred Arizonan, having gone to school in Cave Creek. I attended the University of Arizona where I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Bilingual Emphasis. I remained in southern Arizona and taught first and second grade ELL for two years until I moved back to the Phoenix area. For the past four years I have taught 5th and 6th graders while earning my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. I am excited about starting my administrative career at Sweetwater and am looking forward to working with our students.

In the past, she has conducted student support groups, classroom presentations, and individual counseling with students at the middle and high school levels. She enjoys being a counselor at Sweetwater and working with students on their academic goals, communication skills, and personal and emotional concerns and issues. If students need support outside of the school setting, Ms. Piciucco will work with families to find that support.
