Student life

Sweetwater Community School's Student Government offers students the opportunity to learn leadership skills and promote a positive school culture.
The student government officers and members work to organize and participate in fund-raising and community service events. Some of the past activities have included organizing the school's clothing closet and collecting donations for our school's food pantry.

Students are encouraged to participate in community service activities. It's also important that our students participate in school wide spirit days. So wear your school colors - turquoise and silver every Friday.
Intramural sports are offered during lunch time. Some of the more popular Intramurals include: Wiffle ball, kick ball, soccer, and extreme Frisbee.  Everyone is encourage to participate in the fun!
The GSA Club invites everyone to join.  If you would like more information about the club, please stop by and see Ms. Miller in room 14.
Sweetwater has a Community Area for student use before/after school and during their lunch times. Games and puzzles are set out for students to enjoy and computers are available for their use.  We have a selection of books that are available for students to checkout.  We also have a game room, located in our cafeteria, with foosball machines, pingpong tables, etc...
