$30 from October 10 until December 23, 2019.
$35 from January 1 until March 16, 2020.
Only a limited number of yearbooks are available for sale and it is likely they will sell out. We encourage you to preorder your yearbook early. Any available yearbooks will be sold on campus during the last week of school on a first come, first served basis.
Yearbook is a great way to meet new friends and express oneself creatively. Each student's contribution to the yearbook can be seen when the yearbook arrives in May. After being trained on computer software, Dorian Yearbook Online Design Program, students are partnered up with design yearbook spreads that they can work on both in school and at home.
In addition to designing pages, students cover a multitude of events throughout the course of the year, such as dances, athletic games and fundraisers. Students also assist with various other yearbook-related tasks, including selling yearbooks, photography, and eventually yearbook distribution to the student body. Students must be enrolled in Yearbook as an elective to participate in the Yearbook Club.
National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
NJHS is a nationally recognized student leadership club. Students who qualify learn and improve upon the leadership qualities that characterize the people that change the world. These skills are developed in the regular meetings that are held, as well as the myriad of service opportunities. Throughout the year, the club works to improve and help a variety of communities. From conducting food drives to raising money for charity, NJHS works to help improve the society through service.
The Drama Club gives students an opportunity to participate in supervised creative dramatic activities including a final production. Students are exposed to different aspects of theater including impromptu skits, costume and set design, as well as props and technical crew. The club works on creative thinking skills, teamwork, and providing students with enriched learning experiences in the area of performing arts. This club is designed to support the goals and objectives of our district performing arts program. Students must be enrolled in Theatre as an elective to participate in the Drama Club.
Community service is a requirement for 7th and 8th grade social studies.
