- Will volunteers be working with students in the classroom this year?
-
Volunteers play an important role in supporting our education programs, and this semester I plan to invite them into our classroom. These volunteer opportunities will be limited to support social distancing and will follow our current COVID-19 mitigation practices. With that being said, I realize that introducing additional adults into the classroom could cause concern. I want to assure you that we are taking necessary precautions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19; however, if you prefer that your student not work directly with a volunteer, please let me know.
- When do I find out who is my child's teacher?
-
By the afternoon of Friday, August 6th you can expect to receive a welcome email from your teacher. Note: we are working diligently to get all of the latest enrollments in by Friday. If you do not receive an email, do not fret. The office will be open and class lists will be on hand so we can send you in the right direction at Meet the Teacher on August 9th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm
- Are After-School Clubs being offered during the Fall semester?
-
As of now the following will be offered this semester: the Community Education Department will be offering at Sky Crossing: BEST Sports Soccer, Science Matters, Young Rembrandts, Golf, Chess, and Pop Dance. We will also be offering Robotics. Stay tuned for more.
- Can I come in and have lunch with my child?
-
For the 1st quarter of the school year, no PV elementary schools will be allowing parents to come in and have lunch with their students as we follow mitigation strategies. Thank you for your understanding and support. We will be reassessing this as we move through the school year.
