Distance learning recommenced for PVSchools students on Monday, November 23.
PVSchools partners with Rio Salado College in Tempe to offer high school students a chance to earn college credits through Dual Enrollment online courses. Not only do high school students have a head start once they graduate, but they will also save money once in college. In some cases, students can earn an associate's degree by the time they finish high school!
Students who have not yet begun the Dual Enrollment program must apply through Maricopa Community Colleges:
Dual Enrollment Maricopa grant application and tuition assistance for the 2020-2021 school year are now available. The application priority deadline is July 15, 2020.
Approved applications will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 9 credits ($780) for the school year.
All applications must include:
Signatures of both student and parent
Contact information for student and parent/guardian
Copy of 2018 or 2019 federal tax form 1040 (no tax extensions considered)
If applicable, the award letter of household member’s participation in any of the following benefits programs: Free or Reduced Lunch, Supplemental Social Security, Food Stamps, TANF, WIC or AHCCCS
