National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an organization established to recognize outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship. Students must receive a 3.8 cumulative grade point average in grade seven to qualify. Students are invited to join our club in the beginning of their eighth grade year. If they qualify, they are sent an application.
Pinnacle Peak Prep offers the opportunity to participate in Student Council in 4th-6th grade, as well as middle school. The mission of Student Council is to represent the interests of the student body in student government affairs. They promote a positive relationship as they work with the administration, faculty, staff and school committee to ensure the student body feels free to express their ideas and suggestions.
Peak Run Club
Peak Run Club is offered to K-6 students in the morning before school. It is designed to increase stamina as well as promote participation in group athletics. Peak Run Club takes place at Sonoran Hills Park, in the area used for PE class. The students will walk down the hill to join morning recess once run club has finished for the day.
