Students in this program have the opportunity to develop valuable laboratory skills and experience by being a part of a working lab. The project-based coursework allows students to work as a team on common projects. As students continue through this program they design and lead their own projects. This real world, working laboratory environment, combined with focused study in the areas of cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, and genetics, prepares students to immediately contribute in undergraduate labs at the university level and fully prepares them for many different post-secondary scientific degree programs.
The project-based curricula allows students at all levels to work collaboratively on common projects with responsibilities that are commensurate with their abilities. As students progress through the program and their skill level increases, they will eventually have the opportunity to design and lead their own projects. This working environment will prepare students to immediately contribute in undergraduate labs at the university level.
Career pathways include Microbiologist, Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologist and Technicians, Chemical and Biomedical Engineers, Geneticist, and Epidemiologist, doctors and nurses, and other medical related careers.
CREST computer science aims to instill in students a passion and wonder for technology and what can be accomplished when computing power is harnessed. Students will be empowered to create, communicate, and collaborate as they help improve lives with technology. Students will work individually and in collaborative teams to develop and use their skills to create solutions to complex regional and global issues by completing projects that reflect the interrelationship of networks, databases, and programming languages. Students will be encouraged to explore the myriad fields that utilize computer science and will eventually have the opportunity to design and lead their own projects.
Career pathways include Software engineer, game design, web development, computer hardware engineer, embedded systems developer, computer forensics, database administrator, penetration tester, mobile application developer.
Students engage in open-ended problem solving, learn and apply the engineering design process, and use state of the art technology and software. Students are immersed in design as they investigate topics such as sustainability, mechatronics, forces, structures, aerodynamics, digital electronics and circuit design, manufacturing, civil engineering and architecture, and the environment, which gives them an opportunity to learn about different engineering disciplines before beginning post-secondary education or careers. Students generally work in collaborative groups to apply both academic and engineering content to real-world problems

The four main branches for career pathways in Engineering are: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. This program prepares the student to continue his/her post-secondary education in one of these four pathways, or any of the other specialty careers such as Aerospace, Safety, Structural, Computer, Electronic, Forensic, Automotive, and Software.
