Mr. Bryan Cunningham
What is the best part of your job?
My favorite part of the day is when I get to walk into classrooms and see all the wonderful teaching and learning going on. I love interacting with students and knowing them on an academic and personal level. I also enjoy seeing all the great teaching going on in our Palomino classrooms.
What important message do you want all your students to know?
That with hard work and perseverance they accomplish any goal they set out for. I know how important the primary years are for setting the foundation for students, and instilling these traits early can help create a strong work ethic that will lead to continuous success in their future.
What do you do to make your school a safe and caring environment?
It all starts with building relationships. It’s so important that we know more than just the academic aspects of our students and work as a community to create a nurturing, safe, and caring environment for all students. I also believe in the use of restorative practices to help students reflect and learn from situations and build relationships. It’s important that I am visible throughout the campus and always keep student safety first.
If you had a message for your parents what would it be?
Positively support your child in school, at home, and in their interests. This goes a long way in helping your child be successful not only at school, but in life. Also, I want them to know that I am here to help and support them with their child’s success and am always willing to meet with them. My goal is to create a safe school environment that supports your child’s continuous growth.
