21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Grants strive to build and sustain out of school time learning opportunities that provide academically enriching youth development, while engaging families to be active partners in their child’s success.
After the Bell- 21st Century Community Learning Center programs are currently in 10 Paradise Valley Unified School District elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The Community Education department is committed to offering high quality extended day learning opportunities for students and their families. Each site has been awarded a 21st CCLC grant based on a competitive application process that is monitored by the Arizona Department of Education. The grant is a five year cycle of funding that is used for academic, enrichment, youth development, professional development and family engagement offerings outside of regular school day hours.
