Distance Learning - Our New Reality
Tuesday, April 21, 2020
Your teachers will be providing you with remote learning opportunities. It's important that you log in to your school email daily (just like grownups have to do!), as your teachers will be communicating with you. They may use Google Classroom or Infinite Campus to reach out to you, and that message will arrive in your pvLearners inbox.
To help you stay positive, visit our Instagram: @ncsnakezone. Your teachers and fellow students are posting photos and videos that will put a smile on your face!
Use the auth portal as your starting point to access your PVSchools resources, such as Infinite Campus, Accelerated Reader, online textbooks, and more.

I don't have Internet access at home. What should I do?
For qualifying students at Title schools and/or with Free and Reduced Lunch Eligibility, Cox has a program called Connect2Compete which provides the first two months of service free, and for $9.95/month thereafter. There is no installation fee, no modem fee, and no cancellation fee. Call Cox directly at 855-825-1466. If Cox needs verification of your eligibility, they will ask you to contact PVSchools at 602-449-2392, so that we can verify eligibility and then notify Cox. Please note that the PVSchools Title I Department has already started the application process to the state and federal government for extended support. While we can't commit at this time, we are hopeful grant funds can continue this connectivity.
For all other families and teachers, Cox also has an Internet Starter Kit at $19.55/month to try to help during this time. Contact Cox at 855-825-1466 for installation and questions.
