Equity Goal Objectives 1

Develop relationships that support and foster social, emotional, and academic needs to ensure individual student success.

School / Department Strategies 

  • Use PBIS consistently to set students up for success and positive interactions.
  • Implement All Things EQ with fidelity across our campus in order to create a common language as we develop social emotional skills within each child.
  • Collect and analyze data from a universal screener in order to identify students with internalizing and externalizing behaviors, and partner with Everybody Matters to provide appropriate interventions for these students.

Equity Goal Objectives 2

Create procedures to eliminate barriers so that all students can participate and experience success in high quality curricular and extracurricular programs.

School / Department Strategies 

  • Utilize tax credit funds in order to scholarship students for tutoring, homework club, and field trips.
  • Implement the Special Education inclusion model in grades K-6.
  • Implement the Gifted Cluster model in K-3. In addition, maximize on the leadership role of the Gifted Specialist to provide resources and PD to all cluster teachers.

To develop cultural competence within PVSchools that results in equity for students.

  • Educate students and families about Autism through PTO meetings, newsletters, classroom lessons, and social stories.
