 Develop various pathways and procedures to enable each student to have access to have  authentic, real-world learning experiences across the curriculum and grade span.

  • Utilize the PLC process to evaluate Depth of Knowledge questioning techniques that answer to the four levels of questioning.

  • Schools/Departments will document the authentic/real world learning experiences available to every student.  
  • A usage audit will be completed on district adopted curricula.

Provide a rigorous Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) through focused professional development, effective differentiated instruction, and strategic assessments.

School Strategies

  • Utilize Professional Learning Communities to evaluate the implementation of the Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum.
  • The topic of GVC will continue to be addressed in staff meetings and PLC’s to make connections between Wonders and Core Knowledge.

  • Schools will implement the GVC Framework in developed areas.
