Lace Up Those Shoes: School Is in Session

Friday, August 6, 2021

Welcome! I’m excited for you to join us for the 2021-22 school year. I hope that each and every one of our families had a great summer and are looking forward to the opportunities that come with a new year. Whether achievements are in academics, athletics, or the arts, I know that our students and staff are going to accomplish great things. I can’t wait to see the steps that our students continue to take on their journey of excellence in PVSchools.

As school begins next week, I want to extend my thanks to support staff, teachers, and administrators working to ensure our buildings and classrooms are ready for learning. To our students and parents, we’re excited to welcome you with care, love, and support regardless of the learning path you choose.

My vision is simple, focus our district on teaching and learning as measured by student achievement. To do that, we will continue to rely on our common interest of ensuring that every student meets or exceeds their potential in PVSchools whether in-person or online.

Going into this new school year, families have the option of selecting one of three learning paths designed to meet the ever-changing needs of students. These options include a traditional school experience with in-person learning; PVConnect, a structured online school experience; and PVOnline, a self-paced online learning experience. With this ability to “choose your journey,” along with our many educational programs, dedicated staff, and our community’s continued support I know that we’ll continue to find paradise in PVSchools.

So, lace up those shoes and gather your supplies. School is in session.
