I am originally from Wisconsin. I attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage and earned my undergraduate degree in psychology. After that, I relocated to Arizona to pursue a masters degree in educational counseling. My husband and I have a wonderful 12-year-old son, one German shepherd and a guinea pig.
I am proud to say I am a Sidewinder School Counselor! This year, I am working primarily with 7th grade students. I began my career in education as a Secondary English Teacher. I transitioned into the Counseling Department at Horizon a few years ago. This is now my second year at DSMS. I love working with middle school students! I received my undergraduate degree in English Education at University of Northern Iowa and my master's degree in Educational Counseling at Ottawa University. One of my greatest joys in life is loving my family. I live with my husband, two kids, and my adorable goldendoodle!

Before coming to Paradise Valley Unified School District, I taught high school in Deer Valley Unified School District and Scottsdale Unified School District.
