School Strategies 

  • Developed Professional Development plan based on Project Based Learning and continued implementation of Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum
  • Continued Professional Development and support for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports/Response to Intervention)

  • All schools will collaboratively develop a professional learning plan.

Learning Goal Objective 2 

Develop various pathways and procedures to enable each student to have access to have authentic, real-world learning experiences across the curriculum and grade span.

School Strategies

  • The staff continues with STEAM implementation with a minimum of one Project Based Learning activity per quarter
  • Our school hosts STEAM Family Nights and events
  • Chief Science Officers are elected in sixth grade.

  • Schools/Departments will document the authentic/real-world learning experiences available to every student.  
  • A usage audit will be completed on district adopted curricula.
  • Measure student enrollment in courses/programs characterized by the application of skills.

Learning Goal Objective 3

To provide a rigorous Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) through focused professional development, effective differentiated instruction, and strategic assessments.

School Strategies 

  • Utilize Professional Learning Communities, staff meetings, and early release days to Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum implementation and strategies
  • Teachers will create, complete, and analyze self-reflection on Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum implementation
  • The administration will provide opportunities for teachers to observe colleagues
  • Staff will support the implementation of the district adopted ELA curriculum

  • Schools will implement the GVC Framework in developed areas.
  • Collect usage data from benchmark assessments.
  • Gather a list of offerings associated with GVC.
