Provide a framework of professional learning designed by stakeholders to achieve organizational excellence.
School Strategies
- Teachers will utilize the PLC process to analyze data and determine strategies to assist struggling students and enrichment opportunities.
- The staff will review and revise the PBIS (PAWS) handbook and determine a school-wide set of norms (ideals) and processes that ALL will follow. (common language and sense of unity)
- Teachers will participate in professional development opportunities using our new ELA adoption (Wonders) and develop an efficacy in their knowledge and implementation of the program.
- Teachers and staff will participate in Professional Development on social and emotional learning and teaching in a trauma informed classroom.

Learning Goal Objective 2
Develop various pathways and procedures to enable each student to have access to have authentic, real-world learning experiences across the curriculum and grade span.
School Strategies
- New ELA implementation across the grade levels
- Evaluate the effectiveness of PLC
- STAT will adopt a trauma informed lens for those students with ACES who are identified needing assistance in academics or displaying undesirable behaviors.
- Develop/expand the mentor program to provide our younger students with extra support with social, behavioral and academic needs. The mentor program also provides older students with a sense of purpose and leadership.
- Implement buddy Classrooms to build relationships and collaborative activities across the grade levels.
- Utilize the funds that have been provided to take students on field trips and provide real-life experiences for all students who may not have access.

Learning Goal Objective 3
Provide a rigorous Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) through focused professional development, effective differentiated instruction, and strategic assessments.
School Strategies
- Data chats will be conducted to determine and eligibility for DC Reads before and after school.
- Teachers will attend GVC Math and Wonder professional development opportunities throughout the school year.
- All students will complete the DSAs through SchoolCity.
- All students will take quarterly STAR tests in reading
