Provide a framework of professional learning designed by stakeholders to achieve organizational excellence.
School Strategies

One teacher at each grade was trained last year in the Intel Math process. These trained teachers will lead trainings on the implementation of these strategies with all grade levels.

Teachers will receive professional development at minimum twice this year focused on the district adopted Wonders curriculum.

Develop teacher leaders to provide continuous professional development.
Learning Goal Objective 2
Develop various pathways and procedures to enable each student to have access to have authentic, real-world learning experiences across the curriculum and grade span.
School Strategies

After the Bell program funded by the 21st Century Grant will provide project based learning opportunities before and after school.

Students will utilize in class project based learning opportunities to deepen their mathematical understanding.

Students will participate in service learning project as part of our Lions Quest curriculum.
Learning Goal Objective 3
Provide a rigorous Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) through focused professional development, effective differentiated instruction, and strategic assessments.
School Strategies

All teachers will be following the district’s Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum mapping to ensure that all students gain mastery.

All teachers will have partner whiteboards to enhance group discussion and self exploration.

All students will receive 30 minutes daily of intervention and/or enrichment opportunities in Reading and Math.

iReady Instruction in Math and Reading will be used during the intervention and/or enrichment time to focus student learning at each individual student’s academic level.

iReady Diagnostic will be used on a monthly basis to track students growth in Reading and Math.

All teachers will use School City to implement DSA’s.
