Stephanie Taueki, Assistant Principal

My name is Stephanie Taueki, and I am grateful and proud to call myself an educator and assistant principal in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. This will be my ninth year in education, and I am thankful to be a part of the Cactus View community.

I began my education in the Paradise Valley Unified School District at Larkspur Elementary. After attending Shea Middle School and Shadow Mountain High School, I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2013 from Northern Arizona University and my M.A. in Educational Leadership in 2019 from Grand Canyon University. Throughout my time as an educator, I have had the pleasure of working alongside preschoolers, high school students, and elementary students, as well as adult learners, in English and Spanish. I got into teaching and leadership because I love working with children. Therefore, I put building relationships with our students first so that they feel valued, respected, and cared for.

As a child growing up in the Paradise Valley Unified School District, I recognize the value of educators, families, and community members working together for the success of all students. Additionally, my past teachers and mentors have always supported my strengths rather than focusing on my deficits. They always made it clear that I mattered; that I was capable. I want to work together to do the same for our students.

I was born and raised in Arizona and have been with my husband, Mr. Taueki, for ten years now. We have two dogs named Andy and Rusty. In my free time, I enjoy weight lifting, reading, and going on walks with Andy and Rusty.

I strongly believe that all children and families deserve quality education experiences to reach their full potential. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to get to know you and your children and to support their academic and social and emotional success.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Taueki, M.Ed
