WWA Students Impress at Speech Competition

WWA Students Impress at Speech Competition

We are absolutely thrilled to share that several of our talented Whispering Wind Mandarin Immersion students recently participated in the prestigious 5th Chinese Bridge National Speech Competition in late April, and they achieved remarkable success! The results were shared with great excitement on Saturday, May 10, during a live Zoom broadcast.

Our students showcased their exceptional skills alongside peers from Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico, and we are so proud of their outstanding accomplishments:

  • Kian Shah (4th grade) – First Place
  • Samantha Anderson (4th grade) – Third Place
  • Kiara Shah (4th grade) – Best Presentation

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that Kian will be traveling to Los Angeles this Saturday, May 17, to represent both Arizona and Southern California in the next round of the competition. He will compete with the brightest students from across the region at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China for a chance to advance to the international stage in China this summer. Let's cheer on Kian as he takes on this incredible opportunity!
