Yamaha’s Top 40 Under 40

Congratulations to NVAA music teacher, Nick Popovich, for receiving the 2025 Yamaha’s “40 Under 40” — Music Education Excellence award. 

This education advocacy program celebrates and recognizes outstanding young music educators who are making a difference by growing and strengthening their music programs. Yamaha recognizes teachers who provide a space where students can create, innovate, and thrive. Furthermore, this award is given to teachers who demonstrate action, courage, creativity, and growth. But above all else, they must show care & compassion for their students and elevate the music-making process within their schools.
