Student Council Administrator of the Year

Student Council Administrator of the Year

Pinnacle High School’s Assistant Principal Patrick Hurley exemplifies what it means to be a true advocate for student leadership and voice. Recognized by the Arizona Association of Student Councils, he was recently honored for his outstanding support and dedication to fostering a positive environment for the school’s student government. Through his guidance and encouragement, the school’s STUGO has been empowered to grow, lead with confidence, and reach its fullest potential.

His impact extends far beyond meetings and events. By consistently prioritizing collaboration, respect, and student engagement, he has helped cultivate a vibrant campus culture where students feel valued, supported, and inspired to participate. He is known for creating meaningful opportunities for students to share ideas, take initiative, and develop leadership skills that will serve them well beyond their school years.

His dedication has strengthened STUGO’s impact and left a lasting impression on students, staff, and the campus as a whole.

Last week, the Arizona Association of Student Councils honored Mr. Hurley at their annual awards celebration. Expressing his sincere gratitude, he stated, "This honor means so much to me because it reflects the incredible passion, leadership, and dedication of our student government and their amazing advisor, Kristi Sage. I’m proud to share this recognition with all the teachers, staff, and administrators at Pinnacle, whose daily commitment to students is the true foundation behind this award."
