Shadow Mountain Swimmer Breaks Records!

Shadow Mountain Swimmer Breaks Records!

Josie Dolan is a 15-year-old student at Shadow Mountain High School who is making waves in the swimming world! Recently, she competed with her club team in a big state championship and broke three national records for para-swimming. Josie, who was born with hemiplegic cerebral palsy, set new records in the 50-yard, 100-yard, and 200-yard breaststroke events.

Starting swim lessons as a baby, she joined her first competitive team at age ten, where she quickly fell in love with the sport. Despite the challenges she faces, Josie remains focused, works hard with her coaches, and maintains a 4.0 GPA as a student in the rigorous DAAPS program.

Josie’s big dream is to swim for Team USA at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles!

Join PVSchools and Shadow Mountain High School in congratulating this elite student-athlete, and learn how your child can get involved in athletics in Paradise!
