Seniors Represent Arizona JAG in D.C.

Seniors Represent Arizona JAG in D.C.

Shadow Mountain senior, Noah Chapman, and Paradise Valley High School seniors, Lidia Ruiz Desiderio (State Vice President), Kayla Ontiveros, and Jasmin Batallones were all selected to represent Arizona JAG (Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates) at the National Student Leadership Academy in Washington D.C. held November 29 through December 4.

Noah developed his leadership skills, as well as assisted with critical planning and implementation of statewide events. Most importantly, he has demonstrated great commitment to the JAG and University of Phoenix LEADS programs.

Lidia, Kayla, and Jasmin have been hyper-focused on enhancing their leadership skills and taking steps to navigate post-secondary success for two years at PVHS. Additionally, out of 18 programs eligible for JAG LEADS, PVHS has the second most students selected to represent JAG at the state level.

While visiting D.C., the students toured the White House, visited the Capitol building, enjoyed a twilight monument tour, and more.
