New Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year

Paradise Valley High School is buzzing with excitement and pride as one of their own, Joseph Troxel, has been announced as the New Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year by the Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona (ACTEAZ). This well-deserved honor recognizes new CTE teachers who have made significant contributions toward innovative and unique career and technical education programs and shown a professional commitment early in their careers.

Mr. Troxel, who just completed his first year as a computer science teacher at Paradise Valley High School, has left an indelible mark on his students and colleagues. His dedication and passion for teaching have made a resounding impact on the CREST computer science strand and the PVSchools district Network Security program.

Mr. Troxel's commitment to his profession and students has not gone unnoticed. He has been described as a dedicated and innovative educator, always looking for ways to improve his curriculum and implement new teaching strategies. His willingness to go above and beyond for his students makes him a remarkable teacher.
