JAG Coordinators Earn National Recognition

JAG Coordinators Earn National Recognition

Congratulations to two of our dedicated Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) coordinators who have been recognized with national awards from Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG National) for their outstanding work in helping students prepare for successful futures.

Holly Gorman, a coordinator at Paradise Valley High School, earned the prestigious “6 of 6” Award for the 11th consecutive year, achieving the honor for both the Legacy and Alternative JAG programs. She was also recognized with the Outstanding Specialist Award for her strong student connections and the Mountain Mover Award for helping her students secure over $3.7 million in scholarships this year.

At Shadow Mountain High School, Krystal Booher achieved her first “6 of 6” Award and was named Rookie of the Year, celebrating her commitment to guiding students as they transition from high school to their next chapter.

The “6 of 6” Award honors programs that meet or exceed national performance standards in six areas: graduation rate, employment rate, full-time jobs rate, positive outcomes rate, further education rate, and full-time placement rate.

JAG provides school-to-career programs that equip students with 37 core competencies, including employability skills, leadership development, career exploration, civic engagement, and social awareness.

If you want to learn how your child can become a part of JAG, please visit Shadow Mountain’s website or Paradise Valley High School’s website.
