Invest in Girls Exploring Finance Program Coming to Paradise

Exciting developments are underway in PVSchools! The Council for Economic Education’s Invest in Girls Exploring Finance program has commenced operations in Paradise. The Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE) hosted the inaugural launch event at Paradise Valley High School (PVHS), which was the sole Arizona institution selected to participate in the Fall 2025 Invest in Girls Exploring Finance cohort. The program endeavors to cultivate the next generation of financially literate young women and to enhance the representation of women in the finance sector and related professions. The keynote address for the launch event was delivered by Maria Fisher, Vice President of Distribution Excellence for VOYA.

The event was designed to acknowledge the commitment demonstrated by the PVHS cohort and the comprehensive support extended by adults within their school community and ACEE.

The program's innovative framework integrates personal finance education with career exploration within a supportive environment. Post-program evaluations indicate a more than twofold increase in participants' confidence regarding personal finance topics.

Invest in Girls sheds light on career opportunities by showcasing accomplished female leaders who share their professional trajectories, thereby inspiring students to forge their own career paths.

The Invest in Girls Career Access curriculum comprises a series of six to eight 90-minute workshops focused on careers in finance. These workshops will be facilitated by ACEE and instructed by industry professionals. The experience will culminate in a field trip designed to provide the participants with practical exposure to finance careers. Upon successful completion of the program, all participants and their teacher advisor will be awarded a monetary stipend.

ACEE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate every Arizona student to become financially and economically responsible in their professional and personal lives.
