Arizona Thespian Teacher of the Year Award

More good news from Horizon High School! 

Earlier this month, Arizona Thespians recognized Horizon High School drama teacher, Ms. Brenda Batres, as the Arizona Thespian Teacher of the Year for the North Region. This prestigious award is given to educators who demonstrate exceptional courage and devotion to the school's performing arts program. Ms. Batres was recognized for her years of service, leadership, and character. She has been recognized as "the best of the best" within the ranks of education. 

Ms. Batres’ love for the arts and devotion to her students have set her apart. Her expertise has allowed her to build up a theatre program that has become one of the best in the state. Ms. Batres has nurtured creativity and curiosity within her students while furthering PVSchools Journey of Excellence.
