North Canyon to Host PSAT Testing Oct. 11
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) helps students prepare for the SAT. For 11th-grade students, the test provides entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition conducted by NMSC (National Merit Scholarship Corporation).
Our district is offering the PSAT to 10th and 11th graders on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at North Canyon High School. The test will be held in the morning; the exact testing window will be determined and communicated soon.
Registration steps are as follows:

Registration is from Aug. 19 through Sept. 11.

Register via the webstore. (The student ID number is the username, and the last name is the password.)

Cost is $18. Pay at time of registration. You can pay with tax credit or non-tax credit. (Tax credit is non-refundable by the bookstore.)
