NCHS at the SkillsUSA Construction Competition
Mr. Opazo led a group of North Canyon students who competed in the State SkillsUSA Champion Construction Tech Competition last week at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Opazo said the construction students did an awesome job and put in a full day of work, as they left for the competition at 6 a.m. and did not get back to school until 7 that evening.
The NCHS students were given construction plans and had to figure out how to construct what they called a "farm stand." Mr. Opazo said he is very proud of their work and wanted to share a few photos from the competition.
