NVAA's Phoenix Fine Arts Festival Coming Soon!

ATTENTION STUDENT ARTISTS (and their teachers, families, and supporters):

The North Valley Arts Academies will once again host an in-person Phx Fine Arts Fest this May (5/19/23) on the campus of Shadow Mountain HS! First created and organized by NVAA students during the 2017-2018 school year, the annual student-organized arts fest is open to ALL student artists attending one of the three NVAA schools - Desert Cove ES, Shea Middle School, and Shadow Mountain HS. 

This year we are back with a Fest organized and led by NVAA SMHS Seniors. These student organizers are looking for K-12th grade artists from DCES, Shea MS, and Shadow Mountain HS who want to share their work with the world (and earn some well-deserved recognition). Submissions are now open!

ALL student artists from Desert Cove Elementary School, Shea Middle School and Shadow Mountain High School are encouraged to submit an application for the Phx Fine Arts Fest and share their art with the greater PV Schools and Phoenix community. Applications are due by April 14th, 2023.

This year's categories open for artist submission include:
Theatre - monologues and scenes
Dance - solo and group dances
Music - original composition, vocal performance, and instrumental performance
Visual Art - 2D, 3D, and Photography
Film - short film (20-minute limit)
