It Is Time to Celebrate Earth Day

Here at Copper Canyon we love Planet Earth and to RECYCLE! Our STUGO students collect on a weekly basis, sort and send out the recycling items to our local plant. How does your school celebrate Earth Day? Here are a few ideas for you to give a try this year!

Celebrate Earth Day at school! April 22, 2026

• Plant a "Classroom Forest": Sprout seeds in clear cups to watch roots grow.

• Recycle Relay: A fast-paced game to learn sorting. 

• Trash-to-Art: Create a mural from clean bottle caps.

• Lights Out: Go tech-free for an hour to save energy!
