Hello Families,
Campo Bello is off to a great start this year. Students are fully engaged in their learning, and we kicked off our first SOAR assembly with our pride and joy…the “Eagle”. Our next SOAR assembly will be on September 26th in the afternoon.
Establishing a daily attendance habit is crucial, as it provides opportunities to learn and connect with teachers and friends. Even missing two days a month can disrupt your child's learning. We are tracking our perfect attendance weekly. The grade level that has the highest number of students with perfect attendance wins an extra recess the following week and moves a space on the Campo Bello Land Board. September is national school attendance month. We will be competing with other schools to create an “attendance matters” poster. While your students will work on these at school, please ask them about it at home.
October 1st is a very important day for our school. The October 1st attendance rate is used to determine our future funding. To rally our students to school and celebrate attendance, we will be having a school wide “glow day”. Students are encouraged to wear neon and will be provided with glow sticks. The whole school will participate in a glow dance party at the end of the day. Each student present will also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win multiple prizes we will have available. Remember, Every Day Counts in Paradise!
