District Leadership
Dr. Jason Reynolds
Dr. Jason W. Reynolds is the Interim Superintendent and works with district leaders to ensure that every student has a safe, engaging, and rigorous learning environment to come to each day. His mission that every student and employee in PVSchools feels known, valued, cared for, and challenged is a cornerstone of his leadership.
Prior to serving as Superintendent, Dr. Reynolds started his career serving Arizona students in 1993 at Cibola High School in the Yuma Union High School District teaching English. He joined PVSchools in 1997 and has served as teacher, dean, assistant principal, principal, director, and assistant superintendent. In 2019, he joined the Peoria Unified School District, serving—most recently—as their superintendent until retiring in 2023.
Dr. Reynolds has a bachelor of arts degree in English from Central College in Pella, Iowa. He earned his master's and doctorate degrees in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University.
