Where's Watson? At CREST

Friday , October 18 , 2019

Maricopa County School Superintendent Steve Watson recently highlighted the Center for Research in Engineering, Science and Technology (CREST) program at Paradise Valley High School on his YouTube channel.

In his 2.5-minute video released on Oct. 11, 2019, Watson said, "One thing I think really sets CREST apart is when you walk into a classroom, you feel like you are in that industry right here and now."

CREST Direct Phillip Howardell was also given plenty of screen time to offer insight into the program.

"We're teaching our kids to be STEM leaders, and our students are totally integrated to everything we do on campus," Howardell said. "CREST is an integral part of what we do in PV High School every day."
