Shadow Mountain’s AFJROTC Program Achieves Highest Unit Assessment Rating

The Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program at Shadow Mountain High School recently earned an overall unit assessment rating of "Exceeds Standards," the highest attainable rating. 

The cadets and instructors of Shadow Mountain's AFJROTC program should be proud of their accomplishment! This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the program. Thank you for helping make Shadow Mountain's AFJROTC program a success! 

Lt. Col. (Ret) William H. Bones and SMSgt (Ret) Chadrick W. Hayden created a dynamic and supportive learning environment coupled with an excellent community outreach effort. The instructors provided outstanding leadership in administering the cadet-centered citizenship program. 

Shadow Mountain High School cadets performed exceptionally well and took great pride in leading and accomplishing their unit goals. The AFJROTC citizenship program at Shadow Mountain High School is positively impacting the cadets, the school, and the community.
