Paradise Valley High School Hosts CREST Information Meeting

CREST students in Bioscience, Computer Science or Engineering classes

 

Eighth-grade students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are encouraged to learn more about the Center for Research in Engineering, Science, and Technology (CREST) program on Oct. 2nd from 6-8 p.m. in the Auditorium at Paradise Valley High School (get directions). Stop by at 5 p.m. to visit the strands of study – Bioscience, Computer Science, Engineering, and club displays.

At the CREST Information Night meeting, students and parents will learn about the curriculum, the Shadow Program, and the application process. Prospective students will be able to meet current CREST students and teachers, tour the CREST building, and learn more about what Paradise Valley High School has to offer.

CREST is an intensive four-year STEM program in which students apply rigorous academic content to relevant hands-on projects by working in collaborative groups. Students choose one of three strands to study – Bioscience, Computer Science or Engineering.
