Award-Winning VIP Program Seeks Prospective Volunteers

Wednesday , October 30 , 2019

Are you interested in volunteering and tutoring students, but not sure where to start? Bring a friend or a neighbor with you to the next Volunteer In Paradise (VIP) orientation on Monday, November 4th from 9-11 a.m. at the PVSchools Community Resource Center (get directions). Don't forget to register to attend the event.

VIP tutors provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students with the goal of increasing their achievement. Attend the next VIP orientation with a friend to find out whether the award-winning VIP program is the right opportunity for you.

Established in 2013, VIPs tutor students who need extra academic support, and in turn, help increase student academic achievement. The VIP program matches dedicated qualified volunteer tutors with students at participating schools. Volunteer tutors work with students in either a one-on-one setting or in small groups with the goal of increasing student achievement for students in kindergarten through sixth-grade.
