6 PV Students Named 2019 National Hispanic Scholars

The College Board has released the names of the 2019 National Hispanic Scholars. PVSchools is proud to announce that six students from Paradise Valley High School, Shadow Mountain High School, and Pinnacle High School qualified as National Hispanic Scholars.
The National Hispanic Scholars are:
Paradise Valley High School
Aileen Munoz and Maria Ramon
Pinnacle High School
Andrea Chiappetti (not pictured), Michael Saylor, and Sam Terpstra
Shadow Mountain High School
Each year, the National Hispanic Recognition Program honors more than 5,000 academically outstanding students from more than 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT®. Eligible students must be at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino, which is based on the program’s definition and achieve a minimum PSAT/NMSQT score for their region.
The National Hispanic Recognition Program is an academic honor that can be included in college applications.
