Law and Public Safety
The Law and Public Safety program prepares individuals to apply theories and practices of organization management and criminal justice to the administration of public law enforcement agencies and operations.
Instruction includes law enforcement history and theory, operational command leadership, administration of public police organizations, labor relations, incident response strategies, legal and regulatory responsibilities, budgeting, public relations, and organizational leadership. Students develop leadership and community service skills through participation in a career technical student organization (CTSO) SkillsUSA, where they also have the opportunity to compete at a local, state or international level.
Course Sequence:
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel.

Program courses may be used toward the Arizona Seal of Arts Proficiency.
Lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in the Career and Technical Education programs of the schools.
