Construction Technologies

The Construction Technologies program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to residential and commercial building construction and remodeling. The Construction Technologies program includes instruction in construction equipment and safety, site preparation and layout, construction estimating, blueprint reading, building codes, framing, masonry, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and mechanical systems, interior and exterior finishing, and plumbing.

Students develop leadership and community service skills through participation in a career technical student organization (CTSO) SkillsUSA, where they can compete locally, state, or internationally.

College Dual Enrollment is available for select courses. See your school counselor for course eligibility.

Program courses may be used toward the Arizona Seal of Arts Proficiency.

Lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in the Career and Technical Education programs of the schools.
