    IB stands for International Baccalaureate. Baccalaureate is defined as educational requirements set by standards and international would mean, used by people of many nations. The mission is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.     AZ College and Career Readiness Standards
    AZ College and Career Readiness Standards (AZCCRS) are multi-state academic standards in Language and Math adopted by the Arizona Department of Education. The development of these standards was coordinated by the National Governor’s Association Center for Best Practice (NGA) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO).

    Gifted and Talented Education will reflect the academic, social, and emotional needs of a variety of students. As all students have gifts and talents, all teachers will identify the talents of all students to enrich. Additionally, Fireside will support the needs of students with Gifted Cluster in grades K-3 and Gifted/Honors Pull Out for students in Grades 4-6.

    The school address is 3303 E. Utopia Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85050. We are north of Union Hills and east of 32nd Street.
    The grades served are K-6 plus Gifted. The curriculum, IB program, was chosen with input from the community. Teachers and staff will practice Professional Learning Communities to address the learning needs of individual students.
