About Community Education
PVSchools Community Education Department focuses on the educational needs of students and families from preschool through adulthood. Services range from early childhood programs and childcare to academic and extracurricular options available at sites across the district. These unique programs support student interests and aspirations outside the traditional school day and throughout the summer. Please explore the services and programs available.
Preschool/Early Childhood Programs
PVSchools Preschool Universe offers a world of learning opportunities for your child from birth to 4 years old. Programs include: Montessori, Gifted, Core Knowledge and Core Knowledge with Spanish Immersion, Title 1, an Infant/Toddler Development Center, and PV Family Resource Center.
Mascot Club Childcare is available before and after school, on district recess days, and during summer for students enrolled in preschool (4 years old only) through Grade 6. Mascot Club is offered at 19 sites across the district.
Enrichment offers a variety of affordable classes and camps based on student interest. From sports camps and martial arts experiences to STEM and SAT classes, there are many activities to select outside the traditional school day and during the summer.
Adult Learning programs offer a variety of enriching classes and educational opportunities for adults. These classes provide adults the opportunity to develop new skills and interests, and to connect with others in the community.
There are 75 days of summer break and we have your summer covered! Summer programming begins on May 29 and ends August 2. Classes are offered to students from 3 years old through high school.
