Unique to our school is the opportunity for our 7th graders to participate in full scale history reenactments! One of these takes place in the fall and is a reenactment of the 1863 turning point Battle of Gettysburg. In May, our 7th grade students recreate a special Dinner in the East Ballroom of the White House hosted by President and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Guests of honor are Sir Winston Churchill and his wife, Clementine, and takes place in January, 1942.

Parent volunteers in large numbers are needed to make these events happen for our students. Please take advantage of opportunities explained through your child's social studies teacher to help and make memories in 7th grade. Parents, please make sure you have volunteer forms on file with our school/district. Thank you!
