Mandarin - Language Arts Curriculum Adoption Committee (Whispering Wind)

The Curriculum & Instruction Department is facilitating a committee to determine a comprehensive Mandarin Language Arts curriculum that Whispering Wind will use as Tier I Curriculum.

Committee members include representation by teachers, administrators, and parents. Submitted curriculum will be reviewed for specific criteria, including teaching of standards, explicit instruction, defined scope and sequence, evidence of effectiveness, assessments, variety of resources, materials available for differentiation, and ease of use.  The committee will submit a final recommendation to the Superintendent’s Cabinet and Governing Board for approval.
