COVID-19 Update: Distance learning recommenced for PVSchools students on Monday, November 23.
CE Virtual High School Summer School 2020
Due to the current stay-at-home order, the closure of schools state-wide, and to protect the health and safety of students and staff, we are moving forward with Virtual High School Summer School.
Session dates and times will remain as originally scheduled.
This adapted model will combine online learning with virtual face-to-face instruction. This model will continue to leverage technology to provide students and teachers with immediate feedback, holding each student accountable for their academic success through coursework designed to meet their needs.
To be successful in this environment, students will need to have access to a computer, an internet connection, and a quiet workspace allowing for uninterrupted instruction for 4 hours per day.
Daily attendance is mandatory and participation is expected for the entirety of the scheduled day and the duration of each session.
Teachers will facilitate virtual learning using video conference platforms such as WebEx, Google Meet, and other tools as necessary. Students and families will receive details and instructions prior to the beginning of each session.
Registration closes on May 29 for Session I and June 19 for Session II without exception.
There will be NO first-day registration for any courses.
Our district is utilizing a new registration system. You must create a new account in Eleyo in order to register for courses.

Virtual Blended Learning
Virtual blended learning has been adapted to combine online learning with virtual face-to-face instruction in place of traditional face-to-face instruction. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some element of student control over time, place, path, and pace.
Blended learning is about leveraging technology to provide students and teachers with immediate feedback, holding each student accountable for their academic success through coursework designed to meet their needs.
