High School Summer School

Session I: June 1 to June 19, 2020
Session II: June 22 to July 13, 2020 (no school July 3)

Blended learning is an educational model that combines online learning with traditional face-to-face instruction. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some element of student control over time, place, path, and pace.

Mascot Childcare Camp

Mascot Childcare Camp is available through the summer, beginning May 29 and ending July 26, 2019. Students who are entering kindergarten through those exiting 6th grade are eligible to attend Summer Mascot Camp.

Camp is held on the campus of Aire Libre Elementary School at 16428 N. 21st St., Phoenix, AZ 85022.

Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Elementary and Pre-K

Boulder Creek, Desert Cove, Grayhawk, North Ranch and Pinnacle Peak will host our Elementary Summer School Programs this year from June 3 to June 27. Each school has unique course offerings, and some schools will even have programs for children as young as 3 years old. Parents can build a schedule that will accommodate students from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Middle School

The Middle School Summer School program will be held at Grayhawk Elementary School from June 3 to June 27, Monday through Thursday, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Classes will include English/Writing, General Mathematics, STEM, Summer Agility, Graffiti Pop Art, Pinned-spiration, and many more.

Sports Camps

Various sports camps will be held on our high school campuses throughout the summer. Sports include football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and wrestling. The dates, times and locations vary depending on the sport and location.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Academy

STEM Academy will be held in the CREST (Center for Research, Engineering, Science and Technology) building at Paradise Valley High School from May 28-31 and June 3-6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for students entering grades 4-9.

All Field Trip University

All Field Trip University will meet at Wildfire Elementary School from July 8-18 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. (check schedule for times) for students entering grades 4-8. Trips will include Lowell Observatory, Out of Africa, Lake Pleasant, and more.

Gifted Elementary

Gifted Summer School will be located at Fireside Elementary School from June 3-27, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Programs have been planned and developed by certified gifted instructors. Participation in these classes is limited to students who have been designated by PVSchools as having gifted qualifications.
