COVID-19 Information - July 2020
On June 29th, 2020 Governor Ducey spoke about the incidences of COVID-19 in Arizona and issued an executive order to delay the start of school until August 17. Based on this announcement, we have canceled all in-person summer programming for July. This includes the Summer School Enrichment Programs at Grayhawk Elementary School and Desert Trails Elementary School, as well as Mascot Camp scheduled for Boulder Creek Elementary and Whispering Wind Academy.
We can’t thank you enough for your trust in the programs we provide. We truly regret that we cannot continue to provide experiences for your children this summer as this is the work we love to do. We look forward to being able to be together again.

PVSchools Reopening FAQ

From Enrichment Classes to High School Summer School, we have many options to brighten your summer.

Virtual High School Summer School
Virtual blended learning has been adapted to combine online learning with virtual face-to-face instruction in place of traditional face-to-face instruction. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some element of student control over time, place, path, and pace.

Mascot Summer Camp
Mascot Summer Camp is available through the summer. Students who are entering kindergarten through those exiting 6th grade are eligible to attend Mascot Summer Camp. Many new measures will be implemented to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Elementary and Pre-K
Grayhawk, and Desert Trails will host our Elementary Summer School Programs. Each school has unique course offerings, and some schools will even have programs for children as young as 3 years old. Parents can build a schedule that will accommodate students from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
