Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses can now be used in place of fine arts courses for in-state university admission requirements, per a June 2015 Arizona Board of Regents ruling.

CTE Delivery Model

Career and technical education is a combination of embedded academics and community involvement and is delivered in PVSchools in the following four ways (in no particular order):

  • Classroom instruction
  • Laboratory instruction
  • Career-based learning
  • Leadership development (through career and technical student organizations)
